Following in the footsteps by his uncle, Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun made his first appearance as a child artist in the film Vijetha. His father, Allu Aravind, produced the film in 1985. But the actor made his lead acting debut in Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao's Gangotri (2003). His promising debut earned him four prizes, including the Filmfare Prize for Best Man Debut.
