Kiara’s entry into the film industry was marked by her debut in 2014 with the Bollywood film "Fugly," directed by Kabir Sadanand. In this film, she played the role of Devi, a character that was a part of an ensemble cast featuring other new faces. Although "Fugly" received mixed reviews, Kiara's performance was noted for its promise, and the film provided her with the initial exposure needed to build a career in Bollywood.

Her career took a significant turn when she appeared in the 2016 film "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story," a biographical sports drama based on the life of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film starred Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role and featured Kiara as Dhoni's love interest, Sakshi. The film was a major success both critically and commercially, and Kiara’s performance was widely appreciated. This role marked a pivotal moment in her career, establishing her as a rising star in Bollywood.

Following the success of "M.S. Kiara continued to build her career with a variety of roles.
